The Maker
Tomàs Wolff
Creativity is an instinct.
A drive that feeds the spirit.
Mine led me to start Lobo — and to 15 years of making things by hand.
I didn't start with a plan. I started because making things is just what I do — always has been.
And somewhere along the way, I kept meeting people who were looking for what I was already making.
Clothing that held all of who they were.
The complexity. The contradiction. All of it.
I couldn't find that either.
So I kept making it.
HOW IT STARTS
Every piece begins on my work table.
Fragments of cloth and leather.
Lengths of fabric I've collected —
from recycled clothing,
from upholstery,
from wherever something caught
my eye and wouldn't let go.
Some of it has traveled
a long way to get here.
So does the story it carries.
That story doesn't end
when the piece is finished.
It ends up on you —
and you add yours to it.
THE MAKING
Every piece is hand-cut by me.
Every pattern designed by me.
Every fabric chosen by me.
This means it's slow.
It means it's limited.

THE BEST PART
The work is the work.
But the part that has stayed with me
for 15 years —
is the moment someone
puts something on
and their whole face changes.
The piece didn't change.
They did.
That moment of recognition —
that's what I'm making toward.
Not the piece.
The person it was waiting for.
I've made pieces for people
all over the world.
Shared meals with strangers
who became something more.
Collected fabric and stories
in the same breath.
None of it disappears.
When you own a Lobo piece,
you become part of the story too —
same as the fabric,
same as the people
who touched it before you.
The journey is what you make it.
Listen for what calls to you.
Be kind.
Be playful.
Give back.
Be fierce in your individuality.
Wear it well.
FIND YOURS
Something I made is waiting
for the right person.
You'll know it
when you find it.
Start with whatever calls to you.
